Danielle Alise Levens and Dr. Evan Michael Bergmann were married March 23 at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus in Miami. Rabbi Edwin P. Farber officiated, with Rabbi Paul Plotkin, participating.
Mrs. Bergmann, 30, is a speech pathologist in Miami at three elementary schools in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools district. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University and received a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
She is the of daughter Linda K. Levens and Dr. David J. Levens of Coral Springs, Fla.
Dr. Bergmann, 29, is a third-year resident in internal medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Fla. He graduated from the University of Florida and received a doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He is a son of Barbara Kalish Bergmann and Henry D. Bergmann of Aventura, Fla.
The couple met in fall 2012 through mutual friends in Miami.
