LUKOIL has released a booklet timed to coincide with the Year of Ecology in Russia. It covers basic principles behind the company’s policy on efficient use of natural resources and industrial safety.

The booklet also highlights LUKOIL’s achievements and objectives associated with lower emissions of greenhouse gases, better energy efficiency, reduced process losses, new technologies for production of lubricants and fuels, broader use of renewable energy and care for biodiversity.

The online version of the booklet is available on LUKOIL’s website in Russian and English. Printed copies will be distributed at oil and gas forums and exhibitions throughout 2017.

As President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov says in his address to the readers, “The company actively contributes to environmental discussions and cooperates with the UN and the WWF on the restoration of biodiversity. We believe the reconciliation of technical progress and lower environmental impact both achievable and indispensable”.
